INTRODUCTION
Launch, Inc. (“Launch”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) provides development, production, and management services for experiences and events, ranging from corporate incentive trips to large-scale, in-person and virtual conferences (our “Services”). Our clients are the businesses and organizations that host the events we produce and manage (“clients”).
This Privacy Policy describes our practices for collecting, using, maintaining, protecting, and disclosing personal information we collect or receive about individuals (“you,” “your”) as either a (1) data processor acting for and at the direction of our clients, or (2) data controller acting for our own business purposes.
We use the term “personal information” in this Privacy Policy to refer to information that identifies, describes, or is reasonably capable of being associated or linked, directly or indirectly, to an identifiable individual. Personal information also includes any information
that can be used on its own or combined with other information to identify, contact, or profile an individual.

SCOPE OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY
Data Processor. Launch acts as a data processor (service provider) when we collect personal information on behalf of our clients if you:
- Attend an event we produce for our client, which is the host of the event
- Use an event registration platform, event mobile application for participants, and other event management Services we provide for our clients.
Our clients determine the purpose and means for collecting personal information at the events they host. Launch does not control how our client—your event host—handles your personal information and Launch does not use your personal information for our own commercial purposes. To learn how your host uses personal information collected at an event you attend, we encourage you to review the privacy policy and practices of your host organization.
Data Controller. Launch acts as a data controller for our own purposes when we collect personal information about individuals who:
- Visit our website at https://launchinc.com/ website (our “Website”)
- Are employees, representatives, or other agents of our clients, vendors, and business partners with whom we interact in a commercial context.
Information Not Covered. This Privacy Policy does not cover information that is: publicly available; anonymized, aggregated, or pseudonymized; collected by third parties on platforms, features, or websites you reach by navigating from links on our Website; or information about Launch’s current and former employees or job applicants.
INFORMATION WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU AND HOW WE USE IT
The information Launch processes about you, including personal information, will depend on how you interact with us, our clients, and our business partners.
Event Participants
Personal Information. If you attend an event hosted by our client, we collect or have access to the information you provide when you register for or participate in the event. This information may include:
- Name and/or business name
- Home address and/or business address
- Street address
- Home, business, and/or mobile telephone number
- E-mail address
- Event preferences such as shirt size, dietary preferences and/or restrictions, or other information related to your event registration as requested by the host of the event
- Details of actions you take, including financial transactions, through our Services, event registration platforms, Website, or as part of the fulfillment of your attendance requests/orders onsite at an event
- Geolocation information if requested by your host and with your express consent (see below)
- Online usage data collected at the direction of the event host from event registration platforms, event mobile apps, and other systems, tools or devices used by event hosts (see “Automated Online Data Collection” below)
- Responses to surveys to learn how event participants to learn how assess the event and Services.
- Records and copies of your correspondence if you contact us, for example, to report a problem with the event registration platform or other Services.
Purpose. We use the information collected from or about event participants to provide the specific Services requested by the event host. These may include, for example, registration, program scheduling, announcements, and navigating the event venue. We may use survey responses to evaluate and improve the performance of our Services. We will request your prior consent before using your personal information for any purpose that is not compatible with your event attendance.
Geolocation. When requested by your event host and disclosed to you, the event mobile app and other online Services may collect your precise location while attending an event (e.g., latitude/longitude coordinates and the time of day). Geolocation data is only collected by us when requested by your event host and disclosed to you prior to collection. We do not sell this information to anyone. This information is available only to your event host any third-party technical service used to operate the app. For further information regarding the

Business Partners
Information Collected. If you are the representative or agent of our client, business partner, or vendor we may collect:
- Name
- Company name
- Street address
- E-mail address
- Business, and/or mobile telephone number
- Position
- Information relevant to the transactions you handle for the company you represent. Purpose. We use this information to:
- Conduct business with the company or organization you represent ● Verify your identity and prevent fraud or other unauthorized or illegal activity.
- Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts with your company, including for billing and collection.
- Provide information about Services that you request or that we believe may be of interest to you.
Automated Online Data Collection.
Data Collected. When you visit our Website or use the online Services we provide on behalf of your event host, we and our third-party service providers may automatically record data from your device by using cookies, web beacons, pixels, and other internet tracking technologies, and device identifiers (together referred to as “cookies”). The types of data collected using these technologies may include the following:
- Website Usage. We may collect logs of the dates and times of your visit, access, or use the Website, the pages or other content you access and use on the Website, and the websites you visited before and after using our Website.
- Device Data. Information about your computer or mobile device and internet connection, including your IP address or other device ID, operating system, and browser type.
- Geolocation. As described above, if requested by your event host and disclosed to you, our online Services may collect your precise location while attending an event (e.g., latitude/longitude coordinates and the time of day). Purpose. Launch does not use the data collected by automated means to identify Website or event mobile app users. We do not sell this data; we do not use it for personalized or targeted advertising; and we do not use it for our own commercial purposes. We use this data for the operation of online Services, usage analysis, and development purposes, which may currently or in the future include to:
- Collect and analyze log data about when and how visitors connect to and use our Website;
- Maintain, improve performance, and protect the security of the Website; ● Store personal settings for return visits to the Website;
- Retain login username and password for user accounts if available; ● To provide online Services requested by your event host;
- For other purposes with your consent.
Restricting Collection. There are settings and tools you can use to restrict or delete some of these automated technologies. See “How You Can Restrict Automated Online Data Collection” below.
DISCLOSURE OF YOUR INFORMATION
We may disclose personal information that we collect for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy to the following:
- Your event host.
- Vendors, contractors, service providers, and other third parties we use to support our administrative and IT functions and who are bound by contractual obligations to keep personal information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
- Cloud storage providers that support our business such as:
o Google Drive. Their privacy policy can be viewed at:

o Airtable. Their privacy policy can be viewed at: https://airtable.com/privacy.
- Third parties that help us provide our Services. For example, we build customized event registration and mobile apps for participants on technical platforms operated by third parties and use online providers for surveys of event participants.
- Billing and payment processors and banks that process payments on our behalf.
- Government and law enforcement when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law, regulations, legal process, and governmental request.
- Investigators and others when reasonably necessary to protect the security and rights of Launch, our Services, Website, clients, event participants, and business partners.
- Third parties as necessary for purposes of fraud protection and identity verification and to enforce agreements, including for billing and collection purposes.
- Transaction parties, in connection with a corporate transaction, such as an acquisition, merger, or reorganization.
- For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information. ● With your consent.
CHOICES ABOUT HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR INFORMATION
By using the Website or online Services, you consent to the processing of your personal information by both Launch and any third-party service providers we may authorize to place cookies on our Website. There are mechanisms you can use to restrict certain cookies and other internet technologies that track and log data about your internet usage.. These include:
- Setting your browser to refuse all or some browser cookies or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If you disable or refuse cookies, please note that some parts of our Website may then be inaccessible or not function properly
- If location tracking is used by your event host, you can refuse to accept location tracking by refusing the tracking at the time of disclosure to you, managing the settings on your mobile device, or contacting the host of your event.
- Purchasing a utility from an independent software provider that you install on your computer browsers to limit tracking of your browsing activity.
Do Not Track (DNT) is an optional browser setting that is used by some website operators and third parties. Our Website does not respond to DNT signals.
CHILDREN UNDER THE AGE OF 16
Our Website and Services are not intended for children under 16 years of age and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If we learn we have collected or received personal information from a child under 16 without verification of parental or guardian consent, we will delete that information. If you believe we might have any information from or about a child under 16, please contact us at privacy@launchinc.com.
DATA PROTECTION
We maintain commercially reasonable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the categories and specific items of personal information we collect. These measures are designed to secure personal information from accidental loss and from unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information transmitted to our Website or through any event registration platform or other online Service. Any transmission of personal information is at your own risk. You should only access our Services within a secure environment. We are not
responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please immediately notify us of the problem.
DATA RETENTION
We store your personal information as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected and for any legal obligations or reporting requirements. We may also retain personal information for our legitimate business interests, including for future marketing purposes. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal information, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal information; the purposes for which we processed your personal information; and the applicable legal requirements.
DATA PRIVACY RIGHTS
Event Participants.
When Launch collects personal information from and about individuals who register for and attend a client-hosted event, we are a data processor or service provider acting on the instructions of the event organizer that retained our Services. The host of your event may be subject to the data privacy laws of the state in which you reside. For additional information or to exercise your consumer rights under the laws of your state of residence, please visit the privacy policy of your event host. If we receive a request from you, as an event participant, to exercise your rights under state law, we will direct you to contact the event host. As the controller of your personal information, the event host is responsible for responding to your request and we will assist our client as necessary to fulfill the client’s obligation to respond..
Business Representatives
California Residents. If you are a California resident and interact with Launch as the representative of a client, event organizer, business partner, or vendor, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended (“CCPA”), gives you certain rights regarding the information we collected from you as a data controller. To the extent relevant to our business, these rights include making a request to:
- Know the categories, sources, purpose and specific pieces of personal information we collected about you and the categories of third parties to whom the information was disclosed, and the categories, if any, of third parties to which information was sold or shared for targeted advertising (Launch does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising);
- Correct inaccurate personal information; and
- Delete personal information, subject to permitted exceptions.

We will respond within the time periods specified in the CCPA. Please note that we are required to verify the identity of the person submitting the request and we will not accommodate a request to change information if we believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect.
Canadian, European Economic Area, United Kingdom and Other International Residents. Launch is headquartered in the United States and we follow the privacy and consumer protection laws of the United States and its individual states. If you reside or are located in a different country, the data protection laws of that country may differ as to how your personal information is processed and protected. We want you to understand that when we obtain your information through our Services, Website or other means, you are giving us your express consent to transfer your personal information to, and process your personal information in, the United States, subject to U.S. laws and the terms of this Privacy Policy.
We will reply to requests to exercise data privacy rights in accordance with the laws applicable to our operations. Please direct your requests and questions about our privacy practices as explained in “How to Contact Us.”
CHANGES TO OUR PRIVACY POLICY
We may update or make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our data processing practices, in data protection laws, or otherwise at our discretion. Any modifications to this Privacy Policy will be effective when we post the revised terms on the Website (or as otherwise indicated at the time of posting). Your continued use of the Website and Services after the posting of any modified Privacy Notice indicates your acceptance of the terms of the modified Privacy Notice.
